On May 24th 2016 Swarovski has announced that Karlie Kloss will be their new global ambassador. The announcement was made at an event at the Top of the Rock in New York City as part of the Be Brilliant Campaign. The #BeBrilliant campaign highlights powerful women who also need some jewels to get them through the day according to Kloss. In addition to Karlie Kloss, Hailee Steinfeld and Whitney Port attended with the US alongside global influencers Chanel Iman, Bryanboy, Vanessa Hong and more. The day began with intimate interviews with Karlie and key press including New York Magazine, Cosmopolitan, and People.
During the evening, editors from around the globe celebrated alongside our influencers including Elle, InStyle and Forbes.Swarovski’s chief executive officer for consumer goods was quoted as saying “ We want to bring our brand to the next level but also the next generation- we thought that Karlie would be a perfect match” The partnership will see Kloss representing the label for the next two years. Her Swarovski contract includes exclusivity clauses for the jewelry and watch market.
