The Client’s Vision
The client approached us with a unique and meaningful idea: to create a pendant in the exact shape of Kazakhstan as a symbol of identity and pride. To personalize the piece, she wanted the phrase “MZK Artlets” engraved directly onto the pendant. Sterling silver was chosen for its durability, versatility, and clean, timeless appearance.
From Concept to Digital Vector Design
To ensure accuracy and clarity, our design team converted the outline of Kazakhstan and the custom lettering into a precision vector file. This step was essential for capturing the country’s distinct borders while maintaining sharp, legible engraving.
The vector design allowed us to:
- Accurately reproduce the geographic shape of Kazakhstan
- Position the engraved text with proper scale and balance
- Prepare the artwork for laser engraving and precision cutting
The client reviewed and approved the digital layout before production began, ensuring the final piece matched his vision exactly.
Laser Engraving and Precision Cutting
Using advanced laser engraving technology, the approved vector file was engraved onto a sheet of sterling silver. The laser then precisely cuts the pendant’s outer shape, preserving clean edges and detailed contours throughout the design.
Finishing and Craftsmanship
Once engraved and cut, the pendant was hand-finished by our skilled jewelers. The silver was polished to a smooth shine, while the engraved lettering was subtly contrasted to enhance depth and visibility.
